Track Riding Information: After a short break, and lots of organization, we are now able to open the track for riding for members on a limited basis, and dependant on the availability of Officials and First Aiders. We are operating under new guidelines, and we are working hard trying to get some dates organized for riding , but we are still hampered by the lack of people willing to become an official to open the track.
We are allocating a few hours on the Sunday Morning to the Smaller Bikes and the Beginner riders as we always have, and the rest of Sunday will be dedicated to all other riders. The format will be group riding for bikes of the same capacity, with time allocations given to groups on a rotating basis throughout the day. Junior and Senior riders will be riding separately. The only requirement for eligibility to riding at the practice days are that you are a Geelong Member, and that you hold an appropriate Motorcycling Victoria riders licence. Either a Race Licence or a Recreational Riders Licence, (Rec Licences are available to purchase on the day). See the fact sheet attached for further details. We would love to hear from any member who would be willing to offer their services as a First Aid Level 2, to assist us on practice days. We already have a few, however, the more we have the easier it will be to set up a roster, so we don’t wear out the people who have already volunteered. |
